About Us


Bujinkan Dojo Brisbane is school of Japanese Martial Arts which has been operating in the Brisbane area since 1997. We study Kobujutsu 古武術 (“old / classical martial techniques”) which are those martial traditions which were developed by and for the samurai and ninja of Japan’s feudal period for actual use on the battlefield.

棒術 Bō-jutsu - Staff Techniques

Sō-jutsu - Spear Techniques
薙刀術 Naginata-jutsu - Glaive / Halberd Techniques
剣術 Kenjutsu - Sword Techniques
手裏剣術
Shuriken-jutsu - Throwing Blade / Spike Techniques
隠し武器 Kakushi-buki - Hidden Weapons (knife, chain / rope, improvised weapons, etc)
忍術 Ninjutsu - Shuko (claw), Kunai (digging tool), Kyoketsu-Shoge (hook and rope weapon), etc
